Spent today taking advantage of the wonderful light to get some captures of LillyDee Williams with her ball and did some riding on my bike.
GrrAnimals
February 6, 2011My husband is probably the number 1 fan of this blog. Naturally, you have to cater to the likes and wants of your audience.
He likes pics of our animals, or our GrrAnimals, as he calls them. He even texted me while I was at the grocery store, “The GrrAnimals need food.”
So some GrrAnimal pics of LillyDee Williams & OmaHaus this afternoon:

January 14, 2011Let Sleeping Dog Lie
January 13, 2011After yesterday’s post, I began thinking more about LillyDee’s fur.
She got a whole heap of it and doesn’t mind leaving bits of it all around the house. As a matter of fact, she doesn’t think her day is through until every inch of our sofa is covered in a thin layer of her released hair.
I clicked a quick one of her while she slept. I like the way her coat from this angle almost looks like an alien terrain.

May 4, 2010It’s a Wash
April 5, 2010We typically bathe Lilly Dee once a week. It’s usually a big PITA bathing her at the house. But, a few weeks ago we noticed a local car wash installed a dog washing center. We’ve been hooked ever since. This invention is on the same level as the iPad. Genius.

Here I tried a newsprint/Xerox type effect. I’m kinda digging it, how the grain is very amplified and pronounced. Not everyone’s ideal, I’m sure, but I think it’s good to experiment a bit.

Lilly Dee goes Balls Out
April 5, 2010Lilly Dee is crazy for balls. It’s most definitely her favorite toy. This is my first attempt to capture any action shots. Didn’t go so well. I was only able to catch her coming down from her leap. You’ll see here that I chopped her feet off in my frame. Next time I need to figure out her movements ahead of time to fill her body in the frame.
I think we succeeded in tiring her out.
